TOPEKA, Dec. 21
Kansas Department on Aging Secretary Kathy Greenlee will host a discussion of the governor”s fiscal years 2007 and 2008 budget recommendations and their effect on aging services at 10 a.m. Jan. 16 in the 3 West conference room at KDoA”s central office, 503 S. Kansas Ave.,Topeka.
Though space is limited, the meeting is open to the public and will include a question-answer session.
The 2007 legislative session convenes Jan. 8, followed by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius” state-of-the-state speech on Jan. 10. Her proposed budget will be released Jan. 11.
