The Kansas Health Foundation has awarded more than $900,000 in grants for 48 projects across the state aimed at improving Kansans’ health.
The Wichita-based philanthropy, which also is the major source of funding for the Kansas Health Insitute, gives up to $2 million a year in “recognition grants”. The competitive awards are made twice a year. Application deadlines for the two grant cycles are March 15 and September 15. Any tax-exempt, nonprofit organization that meets the foundation’s guidelines are eligible to apply.
