The Kansas Health Policy Authority board is scheduled to meet from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Included on the agenda are updates on federal health reform and state efforts to launch a health information exchange.
Linda Sheppard of the Kansas Insurance Department is scheduled to provide the health reform update.
Roderick Bremby, secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, is scheduled to provide the HIE update.
The board also is expected to discuss the agency’s Medicaid program reviews, which are now complete and available online.
Also slated for discussion are final recommendations from agency staff for the health policy authority’s proposed budgets for fiscal 2011 and 2012.
The meeting is at the HP Enterprise Services offices at 6700 SW Topeka Blvd., Building 283, J Street, Forbes Field.
