The state Facilities Closure and Realignment Commission will discuss possible operational changes at the Kansas School for the Blind at 1 p.m., June 22 in Topeka.
Starting at 9 a.m. on June 23, the commission will discuss Rainbow Mental Health Facility.
Both meetings will be at the Statehouse, Room 143-N.
Formed earlier this year, the 11-member commission is charged with recommending whether to close or reconfigure Parsons State Hospital; Kansas Neurological Institute, Topeka; Rainbow Mental Health Facility, Kansas City; Kansas School for the Deaf, Olathe; Kansas School for the Blind, Kansas City; and Beloit Juvenile Correctional Facility.
The commission’s report is due Dec. 1.
